Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ French wedding is sooner than we thought! After posting a loved up photo together in Paris, people started speculating that the wedding of the year could be just around the corner – something that was later confirmed by one of the couple’s celebrity guests.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the Game of Thrones star and her musician beau shared identical images of themselves about to kiss with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

After confirming they were having a “summer wedding” and a guest sharing a now-deleted video of the invite back in November, which read: “Sophie and Joe 2019 France,” many took the posts to mean that the pair were in Paris ahead of their second wedding day (they surprised everyone by heading to a Las Vegas chapel in May to sign their paperwork before the destination wedding).
In a surprise twist, none other than Dr. Phil confirmed our suspicions, commenting on Sophie’s version of the photo, writing, “Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!”
If our calculations are right, this means Joe and Sophie will tie the knot on Saturday June 29th.
Not much else is known about the upcoming big day, apart from that Sophie’s GoT co-star Maisie Williams will serve as one of her two maids of honour and that Joe’s brothers, Nick, Kevin and Frankie will likely be his best men.
We can hardly wait.
