Sophie's wedding dress
After wearing a white pantsuit at her Las Vegas wedding and then a red dress for her rehearsal dinner, Sophie Turner went traditional for her official wedding ceremony. The 23-year-old opted to wear a traditional wedding gown custom-made for her by Louis Vuitton. In the one image of the dress, it appears that Sophie is wearing a V-neck dress which has capped sleeves and clinches at the waist before dropping down into a full skirt. She wore her hair out with a long, floaty veil.
A source told E! News that Sophie prepared for the ceremony with her bridesmaids at the venue, where they had brunch and drank champagne. Sophie's Game of Thrones co-star and best friend Maisie Williams was one of two maids of honour.
Meanwhile, the groom got ready with his groomsmen, including the Jonas brothers Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Frankie Jonas, and even had "a few shots" to "ease the nerves" ahead of the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony took place at Château de Tourreau, an incredible 16-bedroom, 16-bathroom private estate in Provence where the couple stayed in the days prior. "Joe and Sophie both teared up while reading their vows," an insider told E! News. "Everyone stood and cheered and they had huge smiles as they left as a couple. It was an emotional ceremony."
Maisie Williams wasn't the only Game of Thrones star at the wedding, Lord Varys actor Conleth Hill was also at the ceremony as well as GoT hairdressers Kevin Alexander and Candice Banks. Plus, we know that Priyanka Chopra, Diplo, Dr. Phil and Ashley Graham. But the most important guest was the couple's dog, Porky Basquiat, who was dressed in a suit.
There was an after party
After the reception, an after-party "immediately followed," according to E!, and attendees changed into more comfortable clothes and ate finger foods. DJ Hannah Bronfman, who was one of the guests, teased on Instagram Stories that she might've briefly DJed during the late-night celebration and E! reports that Diplo DJ'd during the reception.
Singer Calum Scott performed
British singer Calum Scott revealed on Twitter that he sang his ballad 'You Are the Reason' at the wedding, writing that it was such an "incredibly special day" on Twitter.
Sophie and Joe wanted their wedding to be a party
There were "several open bars" at the reception E! News reports, saying that Joe and Sophie "always had a drink in their hands and were having a lot of fun." A source said the couple "wanted their wedding to be a huge party."
