Producing certified organic drops, you can enjoy a glass—or two—of the iconic wine while looking out over the expansive landscape–and, you might even spot a few ducks that are working to maintain the winery’s certified organic status.
d’Arenberg Winery
A truly unique experience in the heart of the McLaren region can be found at d’Arenberg winery. It’s home to The Cube, an avant-garde five-storey structure fashioned after an unfinished Rubik’s Cube, complete with a ‘Museum of Alternate Realities’, a virtual fermenter and a tasting room.
Fleurieu Peninsula
If you were craving a coastal getaway, on Adelaide’s south coast lies the Fleurieu Peninsula where you’ll fine beautiful white sand beaches, rolling vineyards and plenty of small seaside towns to stroll through.
Beach Huts
Bring your stack of books and head to Middleton’s Beach Huts for an ideal summer escape. Jacob’s Creek
One of Australia’s wineries that needs no introduction, Jacob’s Creek has been producing some of the finest Australian wine since 1847. Sitting on 104 acres, take a scenic bicycle ride around the track that weaves between the vineyards. Enjoy a cooking class in the open vineyard air, or simply indulge in a gourmet picnic under the gumtrees.
The Louise
