As if Netflix had already delivered enough series for us to binge this year (You, Sex Education and Dirty John are among the lot), but Steve Carell has now teamed up with the streaming service, and creators of The Office, to create original series, Space Force.
According to Netflix, the new series is a workplace comedy centred around the people tasked with creating a sixth brand of armed services – the Space Force. The show will follow the men and women whose job it will be to run the day-to-day operations of the Space Force and figure out what exactly the organisation will do.
The series takes aim at President Donald Trump, who once discussed the creation of an American Space Force in 2018.

No additional details, including other stars or premiere date, have been announced.
But, if Carell’s track record is anything to go by Space Force is going to quickly garner a cult following.
