Get your platform shoes and Union Jack flag ready—it looks like everyone’s favourite girl band, the Spice Girls, are set to reunite. And we cannot wait.
According to a report by The Sun, the iconic five-piece will be teaming up again for a TV special and a compilation album next year.
Our fave fashionista, Victoria Beckham, is even rumoured to be joining, too.
A source told the UK publication that the Spice Girls had been in private talks about a reunion for a while now.
“The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion,” the insider said. “As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls.”
The source added: “And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion.”
Of course, these are *only* reports at this stage, but our hopes are bigger than a double-decker bus that they come true.
This month, Geri Horner told Red that she was disappointed that previous efforts to get the group together had failed.
“I really pushed to get everyone back together. It got to the point where I just had to let it go,” she explained. “I still love the girls, and there are other bits and bobs in the pipeline.”
Speaking of bobs, we really hope VB recreates this iconic moment:
