Pop-Ups To Check Out

Opening Night Party: Before the bands take to the stage on Splendour In The Grass’ packed first day, RedBull is throwing its infamous first-night party on July 18. See Pond, FlexMami, Mystics, Electric Fields and more. The party opens with a bang at 6 pm AEST and runs until late, with free entry for anyone with a three-day event ticket.

Mary’s and Mary’s Pizzeria: Splendour in The Grass 2019 got a whole lot more Rock N Roll with the announcement that Newtown residents Mary’s and Mary’s Pizzeria will be heading up to the three-day festival serving all their classics and a good time. Mary’s will be taking up residency in the coveted Gold Bar; the VIP bar serving all the artists, celebrities and the lucky few who have a VIP ticket. Mary’s Pizzeria will be setting up in the newly announced VIP Village.

Icebergs: Iconic Bondi Icebergs restaurant is making the journey to North Byron Parklands for Splendour this year. Set up in a private location behind the Amphitheatre, the pop up will serve a three-course feast with drinks by Smirnoff Infusions, Organics By Redbull and Hoegaarden. You can book your spot in one of the two-hour dining experiences and your ticket allows you entry to the exclusive Italo Dining & Disco Club party on the last day of the festival.

Comedy Club: Forget Childish Gambino, SZA and Chance The Rapper – Splendour’s Comedy Club is bringing some of the best comedians in the country to the festival, with shows running across all three days. The lineup also includes Eggboy.

The Science Tent: Dr Karl is also coming to Splendour, teaming up with Adam Spencer and others to run hands-on science experiments and workshops.

Splendour In The Craft: Think hot glue guns, bedazzling and DIY fun.

Tinder’s Festival Mode: The brand-new mode on the dating app matches you with other people heading to Splendour In The Grass, so you can line up cute dates or meet new friends. Just add the Splendour badge to your Tinder profile to start matching.

4 Pines: Enjoy some of Australia’s best beer with the 4 Pines pop up.

The Wilds: An immersion of the senses, ‘The Wilds’ is Smirnoff’s main hub and destination across the festival weekend. It’s a place for those that like to explore, connect, and get more out of life and their festival experience. Here, attendees will enjoy Smirnoff Pure ‘Classic Lime & Soda’, made with just vodka and natural ingredients, with nothing to hide.
