When Meghan Markle changed out of her Givenchy wedding dress into a halter-neck Stella McCartney gown for her wedding reception, the Meghan Effect went into overdrive with women from all corners of the world frantically searching for ways to get their hands on the unique design.

A month later, McCartney created an exclusive limited-edition version of the gown, which launched in June 2018 in conjunction with the opening of her new London store. However, despite designing unique wedding looks for friends, family and clients – Gwyneth Paltrow included – until now, the London-born designer hadn’t ever released a full bridal collection.

Debuting today, Made With Love is made up of 17 pieces, including an elegant white gown with a cape, a long-sleeved, backless number, a cream lace jumpsuit, a crisp white tuxedo and yes, Meghan Markle’s dress, all of which are made with sustainable viscose and couture fabrics such as lace and chiffon.

“It’s something that I feel very passionately about and is very close to my heart,” McCartney said of bridalwear in a statement.

“I think that in this day and age the wedding day is something very different to how it’s traditionally perceived, and I think that the house of Stella McCartney really represents something a little more effortless.”
