So There’s A Dress Made Entirely Out Of Straw Hats On Sale For $4000

It's called fashun, look it up

In today’s edition of what-the-heck-is-going-on fashion items: a $4000 dress made entirely of (wait for it) straw hats.

French designer Jacquemus unveiled the rather confusing creation in collaboration with e-retailer SSENSE, where the dress is exclusively available.

The 100% straw design – which doesn’t sound itchy or uncomfortable at all – is made up of eight wide-brimmed hats which are sewn together, and the straps are made of the same ribbon which is tied around the top of each hat.

If you’re wondering how you’d sit down or use the bathroom, you’re not alone.

However, some people must have worked it out because the dress is close to selling out – with only one XS size left.

The relatively new brand already counts celebs such as Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner as fans, with Kendall even sporting one of the straw hats while vacationing in Cannes earlier this month.

Up for a straw hat red carpet appearance next, Kenny?

And Selena wore Jacquemus designs two days in a row while promoting her new single Bad Liar in New York.
