Australian Mother-Of-Two Explains Collapsing At Kylie Jenner’s Birthday

She was carried into an ambulance on a stretcher

Australian influencer Tammy Hembrow made headlines over the weekend after she was identified as the woman seen being carried out of Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party on a stretcher.

Paramedics in LA are said to have responded to an emergency call just before midnight, with photos showing a woman being transported facedown via stretcher into a waiting ambulance not long after.

Now the 23-year-old mother-of-two has taken to YouTube to explain the incident, ensuring her fans that all is okay. “I’ve had a lot of concerned followers messaging me and asking if I’m just alright. So, I just want to clear that up and say yes, I’m okay,'” Hembrow said.

The Gold Coast Instagram model, who has over 8.6 million followers, went on to explain that when she attended Jenner’s celebrity-filled LA party she hadn’t slept in over 30 hours.

“I’ve been throwing myself into work way more than ever, and also, I have my kids the majority of the time,” she said. “[It’s] literally been like a non-stop, on-the-go kind of thing.”

“I probably, definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged I was, because of how exhausted I was, and I already wasn’t feeling well at all. I was honestly fine at that point, and I was talking to a bunch of my friends; I was catching up with some people,” she continued.

“So, yeah, I pretty much collapsed. Honestly, I’m like already super, super embarrassed about it.”

Hembrow also noted that the rumours, false reports and negative comments had hurt her feelings, saying she “personally could never imagine attacking or judging someone for something like this” and that “You never know what someone is going through.”

Followers flooded both Hembrow’s YouTube channel and Instagram with messages of support.
