You can be forgiven for not realising Taylor Swift, 28, and boyfriend Joe Alwyn, 27, have been dating for almost two years. The private couple don’t post about each other, nor do they discuss their relationship in interviews and they have never walked a red carpet as an item. Taylor made a rare public appearance in support of her main man – but she was careful to stay under the radar.
In case you missed, Taylor made a surprise appearance at the 2019 Golden Globes where she presented an award with Idris Elba. The Delicate singer’s boyfriend Joe Alwyn, was in the audience, his film The Favourite was nominated for five major gongs.
Following the ceremony, Taylor and Joe attended a series of after-parties separately (including one hosted by InStyle, where Swift walked the red carpet in her embellished Versace dress). According to sources, the couple came crossed paths at the FOX party, hanging with Alwyn’s The Favourite co-star (and T-Swift squad member) Emma Stone. The same party she was seen being kissed by her boyfriend Alwyn. The two’s PDA before that point had been limited to hand- and arm-holding while on rarely photographed strolls.
But Swift’s appearance at the Globes parties—presumably to help support her boyfriend Alwyn during his award season run —isn’t all too surprising given her history of stopping by his film premiere after parties. In December, she was seen at his Mary, Queen of Scots after party in London.
