Teenage Girl Flown To Australia And Kept As Sex Slave

The 17-year-old feared for her life.

A teenage girl sprinted down Sydney streets in the early hours of the morning, running for her life from the man who kept her locked in his house as a sex slave.

The 17-year-old was in her home of Guinea in western Africa when she met an Australian man who offered her work as the cleaner of his house in Sydney. She agreed and the pair flew to Australia.

Upon arriving, the man locked the frightened girl in a room and she was regularly subjected to sexual abuse by a number of different men, reports SMH. She told police she feared for her life.

The teen managed to escape from the house on April 27th, running down the street until she was picked up by a woman – believed to be called Nicole – who dropped her at the Asylum Seekers Centre in Newtown.

The girl was then taken to hospital and is now in the care of Family and Community Services. An investigation into human trafficking and sexual servitude has been launched as police try to find the man who flew her to Australia.

Authorities have appealed for the woman who drove her to Newtown, or anyone who heard or saw her after she escaped on April 27, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the AFP on 131 237.
