Australia’s golden couple of Instagram Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary over the weekend and in true Hamish and Zoe fashion they documented it on Instagram in the most Hamish and Zoe way.
Somehow these two manage to perfectly balance their loved-up gushiness with the right amount of humour to make green with envy about the extent of their #couplegoals.
Returniung to the scene of the crime, The Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley in the Blue Mountains, the couple posted a series of sweet snaps marking the milestone – which also happened to be Hamish’s 35th birthday.
“Four years ago, on our wedding day, a magnificent floral arbor heart hung from that branch, but for some reason it’s gone now?? Weird,” Zoe wrote on Instagram.
“Anyway. We improvised a new heart using some elite level dork power. Thank you for inviting us back to celebrate our anniversary, @wolganv. As in, “Hahaha as if you could keep us away.”
Hamish also followed it up with a similar hilarious sentiment.
“Coming back to where we got married for our 4 year anniversary has been truly magic. Just getting away, bonding as a couple, two kindred spiri- oh my god it’s the friggen Wipfli’s!!! This is truly a shock!! Despite the 500 emails to set this up. # incredible”.
Hamish even gave a little insight into what their big day was like – snickers icecreams and all!
“We’ve come back to where we got married for our anniversary, and since the actual wedding was a blur of espresso martinis and ice cream snickers, this was the chocolates we arrived to on our bed,” he wrote.
“Real smooth @wolganv @ooresorts. As crazy as this sounds, @zotheysay I love you even MORE than I loved eating half this pile in a drunken frenzy. Let’s keep the “this wouldn’t be the first time your wife has gone to bed with something fun sized” jokes to a minimum OK guys? I’m trying to have a nice moment here.”
