The Bachelor Australia Alums Reveal How To Spot The Winner

And the sneaky editing trick to watch out for

The latest instalment of The Bachelor franchise – which is set to debut in less than two weeks – will follow astrophysicist Matt Agnew on his quest to find the one. Ahead of the reality show’s first episode Bachie alums Brittany Hockley and Casandra Woods (who both appeared on Nick Cummins’ season) have spilt all the behind-the-scenes secrets that the Bachelor Australia producers might not what fans to know.

Apparently, the trick to identify a potential finalist from the get-go is counter-intuitive; producers won’t give the winner or runner-up much screen time, according to Brittany. “For me, because of the ending and where I came, they kept me quite hidden [in the edit] so I didn’t have a lot to deal with in the first half [of the season],” she explained on Cass Wood’s Youtube channel.

“They sort of put you to the side a little bit because they don’t want to show you too much, they don’t want to give anything away.” What’s more? The winner won’t be involved in any of the drama at the cocktail parties. Producers commonly explore storylines around feuds on the first half of the season before switching gears right and the end.
