Here’s Your First Look At Ali Oetjen As ‘The Bachelorette’

Did you spot the subtle reference to her cheating scandal?

Fans of The Bachelorette won’t have wait long for the new series – we have just been treated to the very first look starring Ali Oetjen. 

After previously appearing on Tim Robard’s season of The Bachelor and The Bachelor In Paradise – Ali is single after breaking up with Grant Kemp earlier this year.

The cringe-worthy trailer which, dropped on Wednesday night, is an homage to Marilyn Monroe’s 1953 classic film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. It features Ali walking down a staircase in a red dress while singing You Can’t Hurry Love

Awkwardly, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the parallel between the promo and Ali’s alleged cheating scandal. According to Grant, he caught Ali with another man on a staircase outside his L.A. apartment. 

“I have had my heart broken, but I’ve picked myself up and I’m ready to put my heart on the line again. I’m absolutely thrilled to start this new adventure,” Ali, 32, said.

“I’m looking for a man who is light-hearted and kind, a genuine and down-to-earth man who will sweep me off my feet and love me for me. And I’m looking forward to offering that love back to him in return.”
