The publication adds that the favourite filmed an emotional scene in which he told Angie of the tragedy and his decision to leave the mansion, but the conversation may not make it to air.

During the filming stint, contestants are cut off from the outside world and are given a contact person at the production company in case of emergency.
If news of this departure proves to be true, the suitor will join a long list of unexpected exits this year. During episode two, Angie decided to eliminate Noosa politician Jess Glasgow for his "inappropriate remarks" during a group photoshoot. Warwick Adams later quit after being made to dress up in a chicken suit.
On Wednesday night's episode, Angie said farewell to Scot Fuller, Adam Sellars and Tom Bowdidge.
