Every Sign That Elly And Becky Don’t End Up With Who We Think After ‘The Bachelorette’ Australia

From the Facebook relationship status to the cryptic comments

As every season of The Bachelorette hits screens around Australia, it’s tradition that the leading lady goes into some form of hiding to avoid the press and potential spoilers ahead of the finale.

But, just like Locky Gilbert, this year has seen Elly and Becky Miles slip up with their secret keeping.

And while we have enjoyed watching the country-loving sister duo every week, many are speculating that the fellas that are tipped to win their hearts may not win them after all.

From Frazer’s liking to Bella Varelis to Becky’s cryptic relationship status, the sisters’ post-show shenanigans have seen many theories surface about what may really happen following the finale.

However, Becky has admitted that she and Elly both walked out of The Bachelorette mansion with someone, saying: “Elly and I both chose someone at the end of this. I’m in a really happy place and excited to see where it’s going to go. We’re in real life now and I just want time to spend with my person and see where life will take us now.”

But thanks to certain paparazzi pictures and curious interviews, there are certain theories that have us thinking their happily-ever-after will be very different.

Below, we’ve rounded up every piece of evidence that somewhat proves Elly and Becky may not find love—or may end up with another—after The Bachelorette Australia.

Elly

She was spotted headed to a home in Newcastle with a packed suitcase

On September 27, shortly after filming the finale, Elly was spotted back home in Newcastle, packing her car with a suitcase and a pillow.

And while that may seem like a fairly innocent thing to do, there’s more proof to this pudding.

As we all know, Frazer Neate is tipped to win Elly’s heart in the finale. However, according to The Wash, Frazer returned to Queensland immediately after filming wrapped and hasn’t left the state since. Meanwhile, Elly has remained in New South Wales, primarily in Newcastle, since she finished filming.

And while it doesn’t prove that they aren’t together—as the couple typically remain separated until the finale airs—it does seem odd that she was photographed backing for a trip given the circumstances, especially since her former flame Joe Woodbury also lives in Newcastle.

Frazer caught sending messages to women on Instagram

Following their break-up theory, The Wash also reported about a leaked Instagram direct message that shows Frazer messaging another woman in October, after filming would have wrapped.

Meaning, if Miles really does choose him then they’d be in a relationship while he was messaging another woman.

“When ya friend talks to the guy on Bachelorette,” the Instagram Story says, while sharing a picture of a ‘close friend’ Instagram exchange with Frazer is revealed.

Despite sharing this to an intimate group of friends of her Instagram Story, it inevitably leaked—and has since caused a huge amount of drama and speculation between Bachelorette fans. And while the messages from Frazer seem perfectly innocent, many feel the fact that he is even engaging is a sign he has recently split from Elly.

Frazer admitted it’s “too early” to know if he wants a future with Elly

Typically by this time in the season, the remaining men are gushing about potentially spending their lives with the Bachelorette while doing their last round of interviews. Instead, Frazer admitted that he wasn’t sure where he stands with Elly.

In an interview with New Idea, the 28-year-old admitted that it’s “too early” to know if he even wants a future with her away from the show, claiming that he barely knows her.

“I think it’s too early to know if Elly is the one for me, but she’s a really nice person,” he told the publication, adding that he didn’t spend much time with her throughout production.

“If I win Elly’s heart, I wouldn’t propose at the end because I feel as if it would be too early,” he admitted, adding that Joe Woodbury had the upper hand, saying: “I definitely thought that gave Joe a big advantage.”

Frazer followed former Bachelor contestant Bella Varelis on Instagram

And while Frazer may have caught Elly’s eye, the same insider also revealed to New Idea that he is unlikely to find his match on the show. Adding that he is already being followed on Instagram by former Bachelor contestant, Bella Varelis. (Note: Since then, Frazer looks to have unfollowed Bella).

“He would go for Bella. She is the kind of girl he goes for,” the insider said of Frazer.

“It’s a pretty small world in Bachie land and all the past contestants hang out with each other. They will no doubt cross paths or reach out to each other at some point, if they haven’t already.”

The source also hinted that they’re unconvinced that Frazer has found true love with either Elly or Becky.

“Frazer wasn’t really into either of the sisters at first to be honest, but he went in there with an open mind,” they admitted.

“Who knows, maybe if it doesn’t work out with Elly… you never know what could happen in the future.”

Becky

An ‘inside source’ claims that Becky dumps Pete because of long-distance.

According to an inside source at the Daily Mail, rumour has it that Becky and front-runner Pete Mann have broken up because of their struggle to keep their relationship going while living in different states.

“She’s very sweet, but the mathematics just didn’t add up,” the source reportedly told the publication.

“Pete was too invested in running his four coffee shops in Adelaide, and Becky wasn’t keen on doing an Irena.”

Another a source at The Wash admitted something similar, saying: “Pete doesn’t ever want to leave Adelaide and Becky never wants to leave Newcastle, it’s as simple as that really.”

As a matter of fact, on the Bachelorette, Becky did ask Pete how their relationship would work with her living in New South Wales and him living in South Australia.

“If we did leave this together, how do you think that would work? Cause, like, you’re in Adelaide and you’ve got a business, too, and that’s huge,” Becky said on the show.

“My family, they’re in Adelaide now—my brother and my parents. And my youngest brother, just over two years ago, had a brain injury and it was really serious—like, it was life-or-death stuff,” Pete replied.

“He’s still recovering from that. And part of my work mission in many ways is to build up my business to a stage where I don’t have to work and, if it’s needed, I can step in for mum and dad and look after Luke.”

Becky has set her Facebook relationship status to single

Reality TV dedicated outlet The Wash discovered that her personal Facebook lists her relationship status as ‘single’ which adds to the suspicions that she and Pete really did break up.

While it isn’t solid confirmation, the outlet reports that “it’s worth noting Becky regularly updates her ‘Becky Lauren’ page, and listed herself ‘in a relationship’ with her ex-boyfriend last year, showing she’s the type to keep this up to date.”

The gossip outlet also shared screenshots of her Facebook page showing her status as single, showing that she last updated her status to being “In a Relationship” on September 1, 2019, which does suggest she does keep her profile current.

While the Facebook status may or may not prove anything, Becky has also revealed that she does have a “Locky Gilbert-style” finale, where she was torn between her two Bachelorette finalists—Pete and Adrian—but no L-words were exchanged.

Becky’s cryptic comments in post-show interviews

In typical Bachelorette fashion, Elly and Becky are required to take part in a number of media interviews about their time on the show.

And while the sisters have kept tight-lipped about their post-show relationships, some of Becky’s comments seem to suggest that things might be a bit rocky between her and her winner.

Speaking to Body + Soul in September, Becky said she wants time in the real world to explore her relationship.

“I can say that we both chose someone at the end, and we’re both in happy places and I think the journey to love, I think that was always the end goal but in the end I just want time with my person on the outside to live a bit of a normal life and explore that,” she told the publication.

In addition, she also appeared on Osher Günsberg’s Better Than Yesterday podcast in October saying, “You’re trying your best to talk every day and text every day… and keeping that spark alive. Not long to go, we’re going to… stick with it!”

To add fuel to the fire, for an interview with Who, the sisters were asked if they found their happy ever after, and Becky avoided talking about herself, saying: “I’ve never seen Elly so smitten. Usually she gets a bit overwhelmed when guys are too keen on her. But now, she’s all in. She’s been really emotional and I’ve not really seen this side to her. It’s so nice.”

Of course, each of these points are observations and accusations, which can only mean one thing: take them with a grain of salt.

The Bachelorette Australia finale airs tonight at 7:30pm on Network Ten.
