It makes sense really. They both went on reality TV in search of love, and nowThe Bachelorette’s Stu Laundy and Married At First Sight’s Ashley Irvine have been spotted on a date together.
The pair were spotted holding hands as they enjoyed a night out at one of the 45-year-old’s family pubs, the Woolwich Pier Hotel in Sydney and according to New Idea the pair are now happily dating.
Divorcee Stu, who split with Bachelorette Sophie Monk just three months after the show ended, says he still hopes to find love again.
“Sadly for me I may have had the love of my life in my ex-wife and wasted it, but I’ll keep searching,” he told The Daily Telegraph, following his split with Sophie.
Ashley also spoke about still hoping to meet her soul mate after failing to find love with her TV husband, Troy Delmege.
“I don’t have a bad thing to say about Troy, I wish we could have made it work, but you just can’t force things,’ Ashley, 29, wrote on social media following the show.
“As for me, unfortunately I didn’t meet the man of my dreams, but at least I put myself out there and hopefully I will meet my soulmate soon!”
Despite being also being spotted with fellow MAFS contestant Justin Fischer following the show, Ashley claimed there was nothing romantic between them.
“No, it wasn’t a date,” she told Nova FM. “Justin and I are really close, we talk every week. Justin was just feeling down in the dumps, so we went out to dinner.”
