Stu Laundy hasn’t even made his appearance on The Bachelorette and he is already tipped to win Sophie Monk‘s heart, but there’s one major red flag: he is still married.
The hotel heir, who enters the series this Wednesday as an intruder, confirmed that he is still married as his divorce is still being finalised four years after his split from his wife Rachel.
“I prefer being married, absolutely. (Divorce) wasn’t my decision,” Laundy told news.com.au.
“But any chance of reconciling is pretty-much over I would say.
“And that’s basically why the divorce has taken so long. I really wanted to work it out.”
The 44-year-old father did not hide his relationship status from producers whilst filming the show, according to news.com.au.
It has been widely reported that Laundy, who will inherit his family’s $500 million fortune, wins Monk’s series of The Bachelorette.
