The day after Donald Trump’s inauguration as president of the US, women took the streets in protest of his outdated views, and more broadly, gender inequality.
While it is estimated that over 2.9 million women marched in different cities in the US, about 600 different marches occurred all over the world. The sheer number of people that turned up shows the veritable force women can be when they come together, and has hopefully sent Trump a message that his actions in office won’t go unnoticed.

But even better than how empowering the numbers were at the rallies was how hilarious and creative the signs people brought along were. Whoever said ‘women aren’t funny’ has clearly never known a woman, honestly.
