The Brother Of One-Punch Victim Thomas Kelly Has Died, Aged 19

Tragedy strikes again for the Sydney family

Tragic reports have merged that the 19-year-old brother of one-punch victim Thomas Kelly has died.

The principal at King’s School in Parramatta announced Stuart Kelly’s death to pupils on Tuesday.

“It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of an Old Boy of the School, Stuart Kelly,” he said according to the Daily Mail

“This is the second great tragedy to affect the Kelly family,” Dr Tim Hawkes said.

NSW Police confirmed a report was being prepared for the Coroner following the death of a 19-year-old in Mona Vale, in Sydney’s north.

A single coward punch killed Stuart’s older brother Thomas in 2012. Kieran Loveridge was found guilty of the attack and is currently in prison.

Stuart, who was 14 when his brother died, had campaigned for tougher anti-violence laws and was a supporter of the lockout laws.

The cause of death is unknown, but Police told 9 News, no suspicious circumstances.
