The Exercise Regime Behind Sam Frost’s 12kg Weight Loss

The radio star shares her intense routine

Since the end of the Bachelor in 2014, Sam Frost has lost an impressive 12kg, but she stressed it hasn’t been without a lot of hard work. ‘I was really, really proud of myself… I worked so hard and it’s not easy,’

Sam’s personal trainer, Blake Worral-Thompson, told OK! Magazine that her strict workout routine consisted for training 5 days a week – three days of weights and two days of cardio. ‘We focused on high-impact and high-attack weight training in order to burn fat.’

Interval training often known as HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is a workout popular among lots of celebrities.

This super efficient workout is a great combination of cardio and strength training and induces the beloved afterburn. This means that you will fire up your metabolism and keep burning fat after you workout (for example workout for 20minutes burn fat for 4 hours). Sam also boasts that she walks up to 7km a day!



Sam credits boyfriend, Sasha, with helping her stay healthy and keep motivated, ‘Sash and I are good actually because we’re both really quite healthy,’ she tells.

Working her health and fitness around her busy radio schedule, Sam says she eats a lot in the morning to give her the energy to last the day.

‘I have a huge breakfast and a huge lunch. Then for dinner, I usually have a smaller portion because I don’t want to go to sleep with a full tummy.’

But you won’t see the 27-year-old taking up the next fad diet ‘I love to be healthy and follow a healthy lifestyle, but I also don’t give myself a hard time when I do go out with my girlfriends and get a big meal. I just enjoy it.’
