The First Teaser For ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Is Here

PRAISE BE

Finally! The release date for The Handmaid’s Tale season two has been announced and with it, a teaser trailer.

The Emmy-winning drama, starring Elisabeth Moss, is returning to our screens a lot sooner than we first thought, with a tweet confirming April 2018.

Alongside the date, Hulu gave fans the first look at the upcoming season with a clip titled, ‘No turning back,’ showing a handmaid running down a dark corridor while a menacing soundtrack plays in the background.

Though the teaser is short on any other details, the title suggests Offred’s escape from Gilead was successful and she’s about to be reunited with her best friend, Moira, and husband, Luke.

A few weeks ago, Elisabeth Moss gave fans a bit of advice for the upcoming season: “I have been saying, about the opening [scene] of season 2, that whatever you think it’s going to be – just throw it out,” the actress said on Watch What Happens Now Live with Andy Cohen.

“It’s gone in a completely different way that I never would have expected.”

Confused? Us too. April can’t come soon enough.
