We couldn't have picked a better time than International Women's Day for everyone's favourite feminist dystopian drama, The Handmaid's Tale, to drop a new trailer for season 2. And, it looks incredible.
Our reaction after watching the intense and furious new trailer can be summarised by Offred's own words: "Seriously, what the actual f**ck?"
The Emmy-award winning drama from Hulu, featuring Elisabeth Moss and Alexis Bledel, will return on April 25 and will be screened on SBS and SBS On Demand.
Hulu revealed a bit more about what we should expect, saying in the official synopsis: "shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. 'Gilead is within you' is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season 2, Offred and all our characters will fight against—or succumb to—this dark truth."

Prior to the eerie trailer's release, Moss revealed season 2 would be even more intense - and amazing - than the first. "There is literally no way that anyone can guess what happens," the actress told EW.
"You can try, but you won’t do it... We have no intention of doing anything else than being even more balls to the wall than we were in Season 1."
