Here Are All The Celebrity Clues For ‘The Masked Singer’ (And Guesses For Who’s Underneath)

Get ready!

The Masked Singer has suspended filming and the entire production team has gone into isolation after several crew members tested positive for COVID-19 on the Channel 10 series.

The Herald Sun reports that the unknown masked singers, judges, Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Urzila Carlson and Jackie O, and host Osher Günsberg, along with the rest of the show’s crew, and behind-the-scenes interviewer, Rob Mills, are currently in self-isolation. The amount of people tested and in self-isolation now numbers up to 200, per the outlet.

“Production of The Masked Singer has been immediately suspended as a result of several crew members receiving a positive test result for COVID-19. The health and safety of the community, and our staff and production partners is our number one priority,” the statement read.

“The entire production team, including the masked singers, the host and panellists are now in self-isolation. They are all being monitored closely and are in constant contact with medical authorities.”

Previously recorded episodes of the series will still air, but it was scheduled to film its grand finale this Saturday.

Battling it out this year are the Dragonfly, the Hammerhead, the Kitten, the Wizard, the Frillneck, the Sloth, the Cactus, the Goldfish, the Bushranger, the Queen, the Puppet and the Echidna.

Below, we’ve collated every celebrity clue so far, the potential picks behind each mask and those who have been revealed.

Dragonfly

“I may be classically trained, but I’m famous for some other moves.”

“It can be hard to have my voice heard above the crowd. But I’ve always found a way.”

“Being well-known isn’t always wonderful. I’ve had my share of tumbles in life. And they can be embarrassing, low blows.”

Some guesses on social media have included Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins and singer Dami Im. Others have been convinced that Sophie Monk is behind the mask, but she has since denied the claims that she is behind the Dragonfly mask.

Echidna

“This prickly character only knows one way to go: pedal to the metal.”

A lot of people seem to think Echidna is Grant Denyer, especially considering his love of racing. In the recent sneak peek of the Echidna, there was also a clue for the number ‘5’, and since Denyer currently holds 5 Guinness World Records (yes, 5!), many have put two-and-two together.

REVEALED: On August 10, Echidna was revealed to be triple-Olympian tennis player Mark Philippoussis.

Hammerhead

“I’ve never started a fight…but I always nail them in the end!”

“This masked celeb is surfing his way to The Masked Singer Stage.”

Given the Hammerhead’s construction getup, many have suggested this particular celebrity appears on a renovation show. Scott Cam has been predicted to be under this mask, as well as surfing legend Mick Fanning.

REVEALED: On August 11, Australian cricketer Michael Bevan was revealed as Hammerhead.

Cactus

“When they hear my voice, they’ll be yelling ‘You grow girl’.”

“Don’t let my looks fool you. I’m dangerous, but I would rather keep that private.”

The clues suggest the Cactus is a celeb who likes to stay under the radar, so naturally Australian stars like Ruby Rose and Sia have been pegged as under the mask.

Another guess is Lucy Durack, who played Glinda in the Australian production of Wicked and Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde musical.

Wizard

“My childhood neighbours hated my singing voice, but who’s having the last laugh now!”

“Rock music was not my path, but I love heavy metal.”

Fans are convinced that either 2016 X-Factor Australia winner Isaiah Firebrace or Zac Efron is behind the Wizard mask, especially since the High School Musical alum has been spending time in Australia. However, many are also convinced that the Wizard is a Neighbours star who has began a singing career, with some suggesting Holly Valance.

However, many have also guessed that Katie Noonan is the singer behind the mask.

Sloth

“I have quite the way with words, even when they’re not mine.”

Given the clue, many believe the Sloth is an award-winning actor, and as Channel 10 has already revealed this year’s lineup includes an Emmy Award-winning star.

However, some are suspecting that Sloth is a celebrity who is very good at lip syncing, with Courtney Act suggested due to her time on RuPaul’s Drag Race

Others think it’s ARIA award-winning artist Tones And I thanks to the Sloth’s voice throughout their performances.

REVEALED: Katie Noonan was revealed as the Sloth.
