The Trailer For This Horror Movie Was So Scary, YouTube Took It Down

Brace yourselves

One of the most anticipated horror movies of the year is almost upon us. The Nun, the fifth instalment in The Conjuring movie series, is set to premiere next month and the latest teaser trailer was so scary that YouTube had to remove it.

Described online as being about ‘a priest with a haunted past’ who’s sent to the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania, the yet to be released film is already causing a stir on social media.

The 6-second clip in question shows a black screen with the volume/sound image displayed at the centre to trick viewers into thinking their computer’s volume controls are playing up.

Just as you put your volume up to top-notch, a scary sound plays and a horrifying nun pops up.

After people complained – and the above tweet was shared over 151k times, YouTube took the video down for violating its shocking content policy.

However, if you’re into that sort of thing, the full-length trailer is still up for your viewing pleasure.
