‘Sassy Prince George’ Memester Gary Janetti Is Creating A Series All About The Royal Family

The best thing you’ll watch all year

After executive producing Will and Grace and consulting on Family Guy, Gary Janetti has earned himself a name for poking fun at the royals on his Instagram.

He particularly loves using photos of ‘Sassy Prince George’ pulling various faces to convey his hilarious disdain for the relentless headlines that follow the royal family’s every move.

His sassy memes have gained such a cult following that HBO is giving him his own TV series, The Prince.

Intrigued? Below, everything to know about the upcoming star-studded production.

What Will The Series Be About?

According to Deadline, the upcoming animated series is a “biting, satirical look at the life of Prince George of Cambridge [voiced by Janetti], the youngest heir to the British throne, as he navigates the trials and tribulations of being a royal child.”

The cartooned series will be written and executive produced by Janetti and will follow six-year-old Prince George spilling the royal “tea” on his family, followers and the British Monarchy.

“We’re so excited to bring the world Gary’s created on Instagram over to HBO Max, where our viewers can discover what his Instagram fans already know—that George can be hilarious, shocking, and surprisingly sweet,” HBO Max’s Head of Original Content Sarah Aubrey said in a statement.

“We can’t wait to see what Gary does with a bigger canvas to paint on than just a 1:1 square.”
