As far as handbags go, Chanel is up there on most fashionista’s wishlists. They’re the bags that never go out of style, that get handed down through generations. They're investments.
And now there’s a brand new one to add to the wishlist, with news that Chanel are releasing their first bag in six years.
Ladies, meet The Gabrielle. Named after the iconic fashion house’s founder, Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel.

The bag made its debut on the runway back in October during Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2016 show.
The bag will be the brand’s first major new model since the Boy which was introduced in 2011 and quickly skyrocketed to the top of every blogger and fashion lovers wishlist.
“We have a lot of seasonal bags in our collections and six times a year we are coming out with a lot of new things,” Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel fashion tells WWD.
“And every four or five years, we want to put the emphasis on one new style and this time it’s the Gabrielle.”
According to WWD The bag will come in about half-a-dozen iterations ranging in colour and material and price – expected to retail from $USD3,000 up to $USD33,000.
