This Major International Retailer Is Closing All Its Aussie Stores

It’s Beyonce’s luingerie brand of choice

Luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur have announced plans to close all of its Australian stores.

SMH reports that three stores, one in David Jones in Sydney, one in David Jones in Melbourne and Little Collins Street in Melbourne have all closed, with the final store in Westfield Sydney will be going on sale to get rid of all remaining stock, with the store set to close in May or until stock lasts.

The label, established in 1994 by Vivienne Westwood’s son, Joe Corré, is loved by A-listers – including Beyonce who wore one of their bras in her infamous pregnancy announcement photo shoot as well as other celebrity fans including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Chrissy Teigen.

They have secured some of the biggest names in fashion to front campaigns including Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and even Aussie actress Melissa George.

KordaMentha have been appointed administrators of Agent Provocateur Holdings in Australia and a spokesperson spokesman tells News Corp the company are planning to focus on its European market. 

Aussie fans will still be able to purchase the brand online.
