Another day, another Thomas Markle debarkle. Now, Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, has slammed Queen Elizabeth for refusing to meet with him.
Speaking to TMZ, the 73-year-old reportedly thinks he’s getting “the cold shoulder” from the matriarch, who has agreed to meet with US President, Donald Trump, but not him.
“If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant, ignorant, and insensitive president she has no excuse not to meet me, I’m nowhere near as bad,” says Markle.
The Queen is scheduled to meet with Trump in the U.K. next month.
Markle says he believes the royals have put him in the “penalty box” after his paid, tell-all interview with Good Morning Britain last week.
He has not had any contact with anyone from the royal family since the interview, including daughter Meghan.
Markle is still yet to meet his new son-in-law, having famously missed the royal wedding due to ill health, but he says he has plans to travel to the UK to see the royal newlyweds.
