Three-Year-Old Traumatised After Witnessing Tragic Murder-Suicide

The little girl was woken by her mother’s screams

The three-year-old daughter who was left orphaned after her parents died in a tragic murder-suicide this week is reportedly traumatised after witnessing her parents’ deaths.

The child reportedly woke up to her mother Tasmin Bahar, 35, screaming as her father, Dave Pillay, strangled her, reports The Daily Telegraph.

“She saw it all — when we found her she was screaming and hysterical,” a family friend appopinted to speak to the media told the publication.

“She is deeply disturbed by the ordeal. She’s just a baby.”

The child is now being looked after by Pillay’s nephew, but Bahar’s mother and sister are flying in to Australia to fight for custody for the child.

“She belongs with us. I will do everything in my power to fight to adopt [her],” sister Sharagin Bahar who is expected to arrive in Sydney next week told The Daily Telegraph.

“She is all we have left of Tasmin — that little angel is now my sister.”
