Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich stole the hearts of Australian TV viewers when they met on the first series of The Bachelor and while the two are loved-up on Instagram, it appears they’re not impressed with media outlets which have targeted their genuine relationship.
An article which was published by The Sun Herald poked fun at the pair and reported the couple were shopping for wedding venues, despite not yet being engaged.
Robards has since taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt post which was originally posted by the couple’s management team which reads as a stern statement in reply to the article.
“This is so dissappointing – and also quite mean. Our relationship is the most important thing to both of us, which is why we’ve never felt the need to rush anything,” the statement began.
“If we were motivated by anything else we’d have gotten engaged years ago.”
The couple also confirmed that they’re still very much in a happy place.
“We’re very happy together, and when we take the next step in our relationship, it will be because the timing and the moment is right for us. Thank you, Anna and Tim.”
