โ€œShe was a beautiful soul. Sheโ€™s just adorable, she is everything to her dad,โ€ her cousin Marilyn Nauer told 9NEWS.

The crash happened at Kemps Creek shortly after 1.30pm on Wednesday after the 20-year-old driver, a disqualified learner, collided with another vehicle. The scene was described by emergency services as โ€œchaoticโ€ and required 14 ambulances and two helicopters, ABC reports.

The family were on their way to the airport to head to Samoa for a Christmas holiday.

Two-year-old Anelina was quickly rushed to hospital, heartbreakingly, she later died.

Her brothers, a three-year-old boy and a nine-month-old baby, remain at Westmead Childrenโ€™s Hospital in a stable condition. Her mother and grandfather are also in hospital, her grandfather in a coma.

Eight others are being treated for various injuries and police are waiting for the driver to be in a stable condition before interviewing her about the incident.

โ€œKnowing the fact that she was an angel for sure, thatโ€™s what keeps us warm,โ€ Ms Nauer said.
