The little girl who was killed in a horrific crash in Sydney’s west yesterday has remembered by her heartbroken family as an “adorable angel”.

“She was a beautiful soul. She’s just adorable, she is everything to her dad,” her cousin Marilyn Nauer told 9NEWS.

The crash happened at Kemps Creek shortly after 1.30pm on Wednesday after the 20-year-old driver, a disqualified learner, collided with another vehicle. The scene was described by emergency services as “chaotic” and required 14 ambulances and two helicopters, ABC reports.

The family were on their way to the airport to head to Samoa for a Christmas holiday.

Two-year-old Anelina was quickly rushed to hospital, heartbreakingly, she later died.

Her brothers, a three-year-old boy and a nine-month-old baby, remain at Westmead Children’s Hospital in a stable condition. Her mother and grandfather are also in hospital, her grandfather in a coma.

Eight others are being treated for various injuries and police are waiting for the driver to be in a stable condition before interviewing her about the incident.

“Knowing the fact that she was an angel for sure, that’s what keeps us warm,” Ms Nauer said.
