Tristan Thompson has been photographed kissing and canoodling with multiple women who are not his pregnant girlfriend, Khloé Kardashian.
The 33-year-old expectant star is due to go into labour any day now in Ohio, where she lives with her 27-year-old NBA player boyfriend, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Amid the reactions to the upsetting news on social media, there has been an overwhelmingly negative response that Khloé somehow “deserved” to have this happen to her.
To explain: Tristan agreed to go on a blind date with Khloé in 2016, some time after finding out that his ex-girlfriend of two years, Jordan Craig, was pregnant. To our knowledge, Tristan had split from Jordan prior to his date with Khloé. Despite the lack of public animosity between the trio, some tabloids and fans have assumed that Khloé engaged in an affair with the NBA player.
Now that it appears the KUWTK star herself has been cheated on while pregnant, many are making harsh comments on social media about how it is her “karma.” Meanwhile, Jordan’s own Instagram feed is being flooded with hateful comments about Khloé and Tristan, and their unborn child.
Jordan, who shares her 16-month-old son Prince Thompson with Tristan, has now spoken out about the reactions with great dignity and respect for all involved.
“If you respect yourself and you respect others, you would never make light of the misfortune of anyone, nor would you feel indemnified when it comes at the expense of others. Wishing for peace for everyone,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Here’s hoping people can take a leaf out of Jordan’s book, and acknowledge that nothing about this situation is “funny” or “deserved.”
Khloé and Tristan are yet to comment on the photos, videos or reports.
