50,000 people packed into Emirates Old Trafford Stadium, less than two weeks after a suicide bomber killed 22 and injured a further 59.

The One Love Manchester concert was broadcast live in 56 countries – at its peak, BBC recorded 14.5 million viewers tuned in on the TV alone and the YouTube stream recorded a further 10 million.

The concert was a show of unity, not only from Manchester but from the entire world, proving that even with the London terror attack less than 24 hours prior, we won’t let fear win.

Those who attended Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena concert on May 22nd were given free tickets to the benefit, with all other ticket sales and money made during the event going to victim’s families.

The British Red Cross recorded that over $4 million AUD was raised during One Love Manchester, a number that doesn’t include ticket sales or the money made from the sale of Ariana’s One Last Time, which has been re-released as a charity single.

The Manchester Evening News reports that an estimated $17 million has been raised so far in total. An incredible number, thanks to Ariana’s efforts.
