The actress, who plays Kate on the hit TV show, teamed up with her on-screen dad to present the award for best duo, however, people quickly started trashing her outfit choice.

Wearing a burgundy latex dress, bedazzled ballet flats, and statement earrings, Chrissy, looked incredible on the stage, however, (pretty darn rude) people of the internet decided the 36-year-old couldn’t pull off the latex because of her weight.

Chrissy, who has always been open and downright inspiring about her size, was quick to clapback at critics, writing on Twitter, “For the record, I wear what I want, when I want. News flash, it’s MY body #thankstho”

Chrissy has previously spoken to Marie Claire about the importance of standing up for body diversity, saying, “Size doesn’t equate to beauty.”

“I don’t understand why that’s a thing. Well, I do, because the media has told us thin is beautiful. But is it? Because I think people are miserable not eating and smoking cigarettes.”

She continued, “I’ve had roommates who were thin girls and constantly working out and trying to stay under a certain size. Even the average girl looks 10 pounds heavier on the screen.”

For the record, Chrissy, we think you look amazing.
