Well, he’s the guy that almost stole Sam Frost’s heart in The Bachelorette last year. (Key word: almost.) Poor Richie made it all the way to the final three only to be pipped at the post by Sasha.
When he’s not busy trying to find love on TV, 31-year-old Richie works as a rope access technician in WA. He took to Instagram to say, “I’m going to miss this place.” Somehow, we think he’ll be just fine in a house with 22 beautiful women.

Let it also be known that he said the phrase ‘cool bananas’ within the first few minutes of meeting Sam on The Bachelorette.

Keep an eye out for some impressive facial expressions. The new Bachelor does not have a poker face.
