Over the past seven seasons of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen have grown into seriously badass characters.
Dany went from being traded by her evil brother as a young girl to becoming a queen with a couple of armies and a few dragons by her side.
Jon grew from being the bastard son of Ned Stark to the leader of the wall and on to the king in the north.
Not a bad run, we’ll admit.
And with all that action under their belts, you’d probably guess that both Dany and her nephew Jon were around late 20s to early 30s in age, right?
Wrong. According to Game of Thrones Wiki fan page, Jon was born in 281 AL (AL = Aegon’s Landing) and Dany was born in 282 AL.
The current year is 304 AL, which means Jon is 23 years old and Dany, 22.
Yup, that means that at the age you finally moved out of home and had to start paying for your own doctor’s appointments, Jon and Dany were ruling countries.
Depressed? Us too.
And let’s not even start with Arya and Sansa.
