Model sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid hit the streets of New York on the weekend to protest US President Donald Trump’s immigration ban.

As their father Mohamed was an immigrant to the US, and is also Muslim, it’s an issue that is close to their hearts. Their mother Yolanda is also an immigrant, born in the Netherlands.

They reportedly chanted “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here” as they marched the streets.

Each of the sisters took to Instagram to share their positive messages, and photos from the march.

Their mother also shared a snap from the day, captioning the photo, “That’s right, we are one….. Open to all religion, all races and all countries #America #LoveTrumpsHate #WeAreAllHuman”

The photos come a week after the Women’s Marches, which the Hadids did not appear to attend, but they tweeted their support.
