A bride-to-be and four friends have tragically died after a mysterious house fire engulfed a home in the Satellite Town of Rawalpindi on Tuesday, January 15.
Pakistani police said a fire had broken out at a home in the city, AP reports.
The fire occurred at a family home as dozens of guests were preparing for a wedding scheduled the next day.
The women, identified as Sana Tariq, 24, Hina, 14, Hifza, 20, Minahil, 25, and Naina, 22, passed away at the scene.
Authorities said two women were also injured.

Police official Zia-ud-Din said local police were launching an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
AP further reports the homeowner, Malik Abdul Ghani, told reporters that the firefighters did not arrive quickly. However, the rescuers denied that allegation.
