Need another reason to love Idris Elba? Well, his latest comments on the #MeToo movement ought to do it. While some male celebrities have seriously put their foot in it when discussing the powerful campaign against sexual harassment and assault (*cough* Matt Damon) the Luther star nailed his take on the matter.
In an interview with the UK’s Sunday Times, the 46-year-old was asked if it was hard being a man in Hollywood since the movement started.
“It’s only difficult if you’re a man with something to hide,” Elba said.
Cue: collective swooning across social media.

In one short sentence, he shows he isn’t threatened by it, understands it, and supports women. Move to the head of the class, Idris, you just secured yourself as the next James Bond 😎

Why can’t more men exhibit this kind of confidence in themselves and their female contemporaries when it comes to this subject? If you carry yourself with dignity and class and treat others like this, non-sexual relationships can never be misconstrued. https://t.co/91prhmmV2j
