On a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian has opened up about the pressures of constantly being in the spotlight and how itโs affecting her mental health.
The mother-of-two has previously spoken about her anxiety, which worsened after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Now, Kim says that the scrutiny placed on her physical appearance has caused her to get body dysmorphia, a condition which has sufferers become excessively worried about their appearance, seeing flaws that are either exaggerated or non-existent.
Discussing paparazzi photos of herself on the beach in Mexico, Kim said: โYou take pictures, and if theyโre not perfect, people just body shame you and criticise you. For people to just think thatโs OK is so frustrating.โ
โI canโt have fun after seeing those pics. Itโs just wild, because thereโs other pics where I look so good, and itโs just from a different angle. Itโs like literally giving me body dysmorphia.โ
โPeople think Iโm so confident and Iโm so secure, and Iโm not. Iโm so insecure. I just canโt take it,โ she continued.
