More details continue to emerge around those arrested over the Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris on October 3.
The 36-year-old mother of two was held at gunpoint by a number of masked men who stole an estimated $15 million of jewellery from the star.
According to French newspaper Le Monde, one of the suspects arrested works for the limo company that the reality TV family regularly used during their visits to Paris.
The man is reported as being the last person to have chauffeured Kardashian West on October 3, the night the robbery took place.
According to the publication, a number of the other suspects are known criminals to the French authorities, with backgrounds of armed robberies and drug and counterfeit trafficking. They also report three of the suspects are women.
Police spent weeks coordinating the arrests, reviewing evidence and collecting DNA smaples form the scene.
The suspects will reportedly now be held for questioning.
Kim is yet to make an official comment on the arrests, however a source close to the star says she is “relieved”.
“Kim is aware that the French police have made arrests relating to her robbery,” a source tells People.
“While she is relieved they are making progress, any updates makes her relive everything. It’s still very tough for her to deal with.”
Kim made her highly-anticipated return to social media last week, posting a number of family snaps with husband Kanye West and children North, three, and Saint, 13 months. She is set to make her first official public appearance during a trip to Dubai next week.
