Everyone’s favourite onscreen mother-daughter duo are giving us all of the feels by celebrating each other IRL.
Yesterday, Gilmore Girls actress Alexis Bledel won an Emmy for her role as Ofglen in The Handmaid’s Tale (side note: if you haven’t yet watched it, we highly recommend you do).
Though she only appeared in the first four episodes of the show’s debut season, the 35-year-old clearly made an impact, being awarded Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama at yesterday’s Creative Arts Emmys.

Quick to congratulate the actress was her onscreen mum Lauren Graham, taking to Twitter to write: “THIS IS SO AWESOME. Congratulations and love! XL”

Gilmore Girls fans were quick to jump on board, posting funny replies – such as Sookie and Lorelai at Rory’s graduation – below.
