How’s this to get you into the Christmas spirit: the BBC have produced a remake of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved classic, Little Women, and it’s coming to Australian screens over Christmas.
The three-part adaptation is the work of Call the Midwife’s award-wining creator Heidi Thomas, Deadline reports, and will star Maya Hawke as Jo, Willa Fitzgerald as Meg, Annes Elwy as Beth and Kathryn Newton as Amy. Jonah Hauer-King plays Laurie. The BBC have released the above image as a first look at the new adaptation.
And now, they’ve just dropped the trailer for your viewing pleasure:
The mini-series launches on Stan in Australia on December 27, with the second and third episodes being drip-fed out on December 28 and 29.
