Samuel Johnson has extended an invitation to the public to attend his sister Connieโs funeral.
Connie passed away last Friday after a lifelong battle with cancer. The mother-of-two was just 40.
Yesterday, Samuel shared a photo of Melbourneโs St. Paulโs Cathedral on Connieโs โLove Your Sisterโ Facebook page, writing: โConnie Cottonsockโs village service will be in Melbourne on the 23rd.โ
โJust wanted to give a heads up to any interstate villagers planning to attend.โ
On Instagram, he added: โWent shopping for places today and I reckon sheโd love this one.โ
Last week, Samuel shared a heartfelt post to fans informing them of his beloved sisterโs death. We lost Connie today. Or, as she asked me to say, she died of cancer today. It was so beautiful,โ he wrote.

โWe laughed, we cried, we sang stupid songs from our childhood to her, which she loved (mostly!). I read her so many village messages, which she relished,โ he continued.
โTrust me, she was genuinely cushioned by your love, till the end.โ

โIโm off to cuddle the fam and warmly embrace an exquisite whisky, in memory of my sister, who did so bloody well, from start to finish.โ
โThanks for everything, Connie Cottonsocks. It was my pleasure to be your Sammy Seal.โ
