The Swedish royal family are in celebration mode with the news that Prince Carl Phillip and Princess Sofia are expecting their second child.
“We are happy to announce that we are expecting a child, a sibling to Prince Alexander. We are looking forward to welcoming a new little member to our family,” Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia said in an official announcement.
Prince Carl Philip is the second child and only son of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden.
He married model and reality TV star Sofia in a stunning ceremony in June 2015 and welcomed their first child, Prince Alexander, in April 2016.
