British diving hunk Tom Daley may be a favourite with the UK press, but the mum of Daniel Goodfellow, his equally talented Olympic dive partner, is less than impressed that her son has been shunted to the background as the Brits celebrate the pair’s bronze medal win in Rio.
Proud mother Sharon Goodfellow angrily tweeted ‘Is this for real?’ after the British press celebrated the win by running photos of Tom on the cover – with her son nowhere in sight.
Today, Sharon tweeted “Thank you for all the messages. I have still hundreds to go through. Looks like there will be lots in papers today!”
Proving, you can always count on a mother to stick up for her son! Daniel Goodfellow and Tom Daley won the Bronze medal in the men’s synchronised 10m platform diving event.
