Victoria Beckham’s Complete Diet And Exercise Routine

How the designer stays fighting fit.

When it comes to staying healthy, Victoria Beckham has her diet and exercise down to a fine art. In addition to keeping a balanced diet and ensuring her body is properly fuelled with the nutrients it needs, the 49-year-old (who’s turning 50 this month) has also formulated a jam-packed daily fitness routine.

So how exactly does she do it? Keep scrolling for everything you need to know about Victoria Beckham’s everyday diet and exercise routine.

What Is Victoria Beckham’s Diet?

While exactly what Victoria eats day to day varies, she’s a stickler for a healthy, balanced diet.

“I enjoy eating healthily,” she told The Times. “And I’m in the fortunate position where it’s easy for me. I can afford to eat well.”

She insists that her wholesome diet is what gets her through her busy days as a mum and business-owner: “I expect a lot from my body,” she said. “And I’m never sick. You have to be kind to your body if you expect a lot from it.”

When it comes to maintaining her bright visage, Beckham swears by consuming the right amount of healthy fats, mainly from avocados.

In an interview with The Telegraph the fashion designer revealed that she now “eats three or four avocados a day” to keep her skin healthy.

Widely considered one of the best foods for glowing skin, avocados are a rich source of monounsaturated fat. They also features high amounts of vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress, which has been connected to ageing.

Every morning before having her breakfast, VB preps her gut for the day with apple cider vinegar. “Be brave! Two tbsp first thing on an empty tummy!” she revealed on Instagram.

The former songstress is also a fan of bee pollen, crediting the superfood with keeping her skin wrinkle-free in an interview with Vogue UK

According to Women’s Health she’s also been known to start her day with a bowl of sprouted grain cereal. Beckhams’ go-to pick contains wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, which she then tops with “unsweetened organic almond milk.”

What Is Victoria Beckham’s Exercise Routine?

Like her diet, VB’s exact workout routine has varied over the years.

In 2017, she told Vogue Netherlands that she runs for approximately 5 kilometres every day.

“I go for a three mile run every morning and I work out for an hour with a PT, which gives me just enough time to get to the kitchen to puree Romeo’s avocados,” she said.

Three years earlier, she told Vogue UK that she typically completes her PT session with celebrity trainer, Tracy Anderson, at 6 o’ clock each morning, five days a week. She also said both running and Tracy Anderson feature heavily in her fitness routine when she was a guest on the Breaking Beauty podcast in 2021.

As a busy working mum, Victoria has admitted that she has to be strategic about when she fits exercise into her day.

“I get up quite early, around 6am, and do an hour in the gym before the kids get up, then I give them breakfast and David or I take them to school,” she told The Times

Beckham’s routine is definitely not for the faint hearted, squeezing these workouts in almost every day of the week. “I work out every day, six or seven days [a week],” she told ELLE.com.

Victoria Beckham does multiple workouts a day.

To keep her workouts fresh and interesting, Beckham also loves to attend classes.

She’s been spotted multiple times at LA’s cult-fitness studio, SoulCycle. According to Vogue UK, she’ll also fit in a workout at Barry’s Bootcamp when she can.

Considering VB is famously flexible (those iconic stretches on the couch don’t lie), it’s little wonder that she’s tried yoga, and even partakes in it with her husband and children.

During an Italian vacation in 2019, Beckham shared an Instagram video of herself completing some pretty experienced yoga poses, proving she’s no stranger to the posture-aiding workout (and that Victoria Beckham’s diet and exercise routine go with her on holidays).

Thanks to its restorative properties and ability to calm and centre the mind, yoga is a very popular workout among celebrities. Stars like Elle Macpherson, Halle Berry and Meghan Markle are all fans of the popular workout style, which can be practiced in varying intensities and focus on different body parts.
