Victoria Beckham’s Hairdresser Shares His Genius Roots Touch-Up Trick

It’s perfect for time-poor women

In the years since she shed her Posh Spice attire, Victoria Beckham has become synonymous with style – from her perfectly coiffed lob/bob/pob situation right down to the heels permanently affixed to her feet.

Her hair colourist, Jason Collier of Matthew Curtis Salon, London, has now shared the secret to her always-amazing hair. He calls it, according to Harper’s Bazaar UK, the ‘gloss and go transformation’ – and we want in.

He tells Harper’s that Beckham books appointments in between dye jobs for quick root touch-ups, which he follows with a glossing treatment. “Hair immediately looks refreshed, healthy and shiny,” he says.

After years of tousled, textured waves, glossy locks are making a major comeback. More and more hairdressers are offering gloss treatments that incorporate colour for an ultra-shiny result, from gloss smudging to the super-new glacage.

Time to dig out those shine serums and gloss-giving hairsprays (for the record, Beckham favours L’Oreal Ellnet).
